An extraordinary event took place last week in the city of Nain, leaving residents and witnesses bewildered and amazed. The reporting team of Bible News decided to verify the truth of the case that quickly spread, reporting that a young man who had passed away and was on his way to the cemetery was resurrected before being buried.
According to eyewitnesses, a man known as Jesus, accompanied by a group of 12 individuals referred to as disciples, arrived in the city of Nain. A considerable crowd was following him. As he approached the city gates, it coincided that a funeral procession was leaving the city, carrying the body of a desolate widow’s only son. Accompanying the procession was a large crowd from the community.
Upon encountering the scene of suffering, Jesus expressed deep compassion for the widow and said to her, “Do not weep!” He then approached the coffin and touched it, causing the pallbearers to stop. In a moment defying the laws of nature, Jesus proclaimed, “Young man, I tell you, arise!” Astonishingly, the deceased young man rose, returning to life. He began to speak, and Jesus delivered him safe and sound to his emotional mother.
The crowd that witnessed the miracle was filled with great awe and admiration. Many present praised God, proclaiming, “A powerful prophet has arisen among us!” and “Today, God has visited His people!” The news of this extraordinary event spread rapidly throughout the region of Judea and its neighboring towns.
